Bei diesem Workshop lernen die Teilnehmer mit viel Spaß, eine neue dreistimmige Komposition zu spielen. Jeder Teilnehmer hat die Gelegenheit, alle drei Stimmen zu lernen. Wer möchte, kann sich aber auch auf eine oder zwei Stimmen konzentrieren. Die Komposition kann frei verwendet werden. Das heißt, die Teilnehmer können sie auch an ihre Gruppen weitergeben und bei Auftritten spielen, sie können aber auch einfach zwei Stunden lang die Freude am Taiko-Trommeln genießen. Dieser Workshop ist für alle geeignet, die einen Don Doko-Grundrhythmus (Ji-uchi) mit Endpunkten, Pausen und Einstiegen spielen können. Termin = Samstag 05. Juni 2021)

Bereits seit fünf Jahren bieten
die Taiko-Sessions mit Silke einen Raum, um
Taiko-Freunde zu treffen, Musik zu machen, voneinander
zu lernen und miteinander zu improvisieren. Weitere
Instrumente und eigene Ideen sind hier herzlich
willkommen. Lasst uns gemeinsam kreativ werden! Silke
war über 10 Jahre Mitglied von Tentekko-Taiko und hat in
den letzten Jahren bei zahlreichen Gruppen und Lehrern
aus Europa, Japan und den USA ganz unterschiedliche
Aspekte des Taiko-Trommelns kennengelernt. Ihr Herz
schlägt für Vielfalt und Respekt in einer großen
Taiko-Gemeinschaft.

"TOMODACHI“ bedeutet "Freund" und feiert die
Freundschaft und positive Energie zwischen
Taiko-Spielern auf der ganzen Welt.
Grete Moortgat komponierte dieses Stück als
Open-Source-Stück, das die Teilnehmer in ihre Gruppen
mitnehmen und gemeinsam aufführen können. Eine
kraftvolle Grundstimmung, ein einfacher Hauptsatz und
ein heiterer Shime-Teil werden zu einem energiegeladenen
Dialog verwoben. Spaß garantiert!

Miya/Nagado Taiko-Workshop von Takuya Taniguchi mit
einem speziellen Festival-Motiv aus Japan.
Takuyas diesjähriger Workshop basiert auf einem
speziellen Thema aus einem traditionellen japanischen
Festival. Bei der Komposition seines Stücks wurde er
durch das Nebuta Matsuri in Aomori beeinflusst. Das
Nebuta Matsuri ist eines der drei berühmtesten Feste in
Japan, und sein herausragendes Element sind die
gewaltigen Festwagen mit Figuren von tapferen Kriegern,
die durch das Stadtzentrum gezogen werden.
Takuya hat daraus ein besonderes Stück kreiert, das an
die traditionellen Rhythmen und Bewegungen aus dem alten
Japan erinnert, sodass die Teilnehmer dieses
einzigartigen Workshops die Stimmung eines japanischen
Festes (Matsuri) nachempfinden können. Der Schwerpunkt
wird auf den Basics und Aufwärmübungen am Anfang liegen,
sodass der Workshop für Taiko-Spieler aller Stufen
geeignet ist und jeder in diesen großartigen japanischen
Festrhythmus eintauchen kann!

In diesem Workshop unterrichtet Frank Dubberke ein Stück aus dem WADOKYO Repertoire - "Sore O Ido". Es ist ein dreistimmiges Stück (Shime, Miya und Bass), welches vor allem durch schwungvolle Bewegungen und die typische WADOKYO Dynamik geprägt ist – ein Stück, das von Leichtigkeit, Freude und Power lebt."Sore O Ido" ist einfach strukturiert, sodass es mit Leichtigkeit erlernt werden kann. Ein Grundbeat von 160 bpm sollte leicht gespielt werden können.

In diesem Workshop geht es um
die typischen Moves im WADOKYO Stil, denn Taiko ist mehr
als nur Trommeln. Basierend
auf ihrer langjährigen Erfahrung in Body Vitality, Sport
& Dance bringt Jeannette schwungvolle Bewegungen und
Taiko-Rhythmen zusammen. Der Workshop spricht sowohl den
Körper als auch Geist und Seele an, denn Taiko im
WADOKYO-Sinne lebt vom Zusammenspiel. Spaß an Rhythmen,
Trommeln und Bewegung ist die Voraussetzung für die
Teilnahme.

Concert nights 2022
Dear Taiko friends!
Of course there will again be offered interesting and diverse Taiko WORKSHOPS at the TAIKO Concert nights 2022.
The leaders and outstanding players of the Taiko
groups WADOKYO (Germany), TAKUYA TANIGUCHI
(Japan) and FENIKS
Taiko (Belgium)
will teach in exciting workshops, the practice, application and
immersion in selected Taiko styles, techniques and emotions.
In addition, three more experienced Taiko instructors will offer unique workshops in 2020. Creativity and improvisation, movement and energy, fun and teampower - all this can be found in the workshops of SILKE HANZEN (Germany), JEANETTE PETERSEN (Germany/Wadokyo) and JONATHAN KIRBY (U.K. / Kagemusha). There is surely something for everyone - Register and join in! (beginner & advanced)

The aim of this workshop is for participants to have
fun learning to play a new three-part composition
together. All participants will have the opportunity to
learn all three parts, but it's OK to focus on one or
two parts if preferred. The composition is free to use,
so participants can take it back to their groups and
perform it if they wish, or the focus can be purely on
having a great two hours playing taiko. If you can play
a Don DoKo base rhythm (ji-uchi), with stops, pauses and

five years now, the Taiko sessions with Silke have
offered a space to meet Taiko friends, to make music, to
learn from each other and to improvise together. Other
instruments and your own ideas are very welcome here.
Let's get creative together! Silke has been a member of
Tentekko Taiko for more than 10 years and during the
last few years she has been introduced to many different
aspects of Taiko drumming by numerous groups and
teachers from Europe, Japan and the USA. Her heart beats
for diversity and respect in a large Taiko community.

fee TOMODACHI means "friend" and celebrates the friendship and positive energy between taiko players all over the world. Grete Moortgat composed this piece as an open-source piece, that the participants can take to their groups and perform together. A powerful base, a simple main phrase, and a light-hearted shime part are woven into an energetic dialogue. Fun guaranteed!

Takuya Taniguchi’s Nagado/Miya Taiko Workshop with a
special theme of Japanese Festival.
Takuya is going to hold his workshop with a special
theme this year, a traditional Japanese Matsuri. When
composing his original piece he was influenced by Nebuta
Matsuri in Aomori. Nebuta Matsuri is one of the 3 most
famous festivals in Japan and its biggest feature is the
massive floats of brave warrior-figures which are
carried through the centre of the city. Takuya made a
special song that reminds you of the traditional rhythm
and movements from ancient Japan and will teach you the
song to feel the Japanese Matsuri mood during this
unique workshop. Any level is welcome as he will focus
on the basics and warmups at the beginning so that
everyone can be ready to be immersed with great Japanese
festive groove!

In this workshop Frank Dubberke teaches a piece from
the WADOKYO repertoire - "Sore O Ido". It is a
three-part piece (shime, miya and bass), which is mainly
characterized by swinging movements and the typical
WADOKYO dynamics - a piece that sparkles with lightness,
joy and power. "Sore O Ido" is structured quite simply
so that it can be learned with ease. The participants
should be able to play a base beat of 160 bpm easily.

This workshop is about the typical moves in WADOKYO
style, because Taiko is more than just drumming. Based
on her many years of experience
in Body Vitality, Sport & Dance, Jeannette brings
together swinging movements and Taiko rhythms.
The workshop addresses body, mind and soul, because
Taiko in the WADOKYO sense thrives on the interaction
between the players. Enthusiasm for rhythms, drumming
and movement is the prerequisite for participation.
Previous Taiko experience is also urgently necessary.
REGISTRATION: All the workshops will be held in the dojo of the WADOKYO Taiko Academy (Hansaallee 321 - 40549 Düsseldorf – Building/Gebäude 5, in Düsseldorf. Only a limited number of places are available, and they will be allocated in order of receipt of registration.
